  4. New York - best city in the world! For date night drinks go to Grand Central, to The Campbell Apartments (seen in Gossip Girl), best steak houses The Palm Tribeca (drink the tease like a tart), Capitole Grill near Wall Street (drink the Stoli Doli), Del Friscos near Rockefeller (drink the VIP). Best day time fancy date restaurant, the Bryant Park Grill. Go to the Magnolia Bakery in the 70s. An institution for eggs and bagels, go to Barney Greengrass (541 Amsterdam), best Bagel go to Nussbaum and Wu on 113th and Broadway, right near Columbia University. Soho and 3rd Avenue (round the 60s) are my fav shopping areas. At Macy's show your passport and get a coupon which will remove sales tax. If you want to hit up some bargain, take the bus from Penn Station to Woodbury Common they have the discount stores of all major labels. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, tour the park, go up the Empire State building and the Obs Deck at the Rock. Times Square is the most over rated area, tour the others - the Upper West Side is amazing! TKS in Time Square sells discounted tickets for the broadway shows. First stop? Hit up a duane reade and buy a map of the city - really crucial when you are in the village. Go to the High Line Park, stroll from the financial district, through Tribeca, up to the Village - In the early evening its awesome. There is a walk way on the edge of the west side, it starts in Tribeca and ends in the 100s - take a walk or a jog with the locals. Have a ball!!!
