Gowrie Weekend

This past weekend, we joined three other families for a five day break in the Midlands. We rented a beautiful home on Gowrie farm - we fall in love every time we drive through the farm gate and I dream of owning our own little farmhouse up there one day.

The other families (except one couple) have kids the same age as SJ and EN so our girls had a getaway full of fun and laughter! We spent the day on Wednesday unpacking and settling in with a tasty braai that night. Thursday was a day of chaos with the boys off playing golf and the moms holding the fort. Friday was our day off with a spa morning and lazy lunch and Saturday was our family day with a lunch out and lots of quality time together. 

We all had a great time with special friends and the chaos of 8 adults and 6 kids under one roof.
